The Cost of Drug Rehab

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

How much should you pay for a drug addiction rehab program? Once you know a rehab program is necessary and start to check out facilities you may be surprised at costs for such services.

As with anything else that is provided or purchased cost is an important point.  Often it is a deciding point in what kind and what specific program you enter.

The range of drug rehab cost can go from near free to over $100,000.00.  What is expensive is relative of course however the most expensive or the cheapest may not be the best choice.

For free you can attend AA or NA meetings in your area and continue your life as you live it.  This can be very hard for someone with an active, overwhelming addiction.  There are some government funded programs, these often have waiting lists due to the cost which can be a disadvantage.

As you climb the price ladder you will find all sorts of things you like or feel are not needed.   One advantage to paying some money for a program is they usually do not have the waiting list.

At Drug Rehab Referral Services we do take into account your financial circumstances, how ever we also look for the best type of program we can find for you.  We look for abstinence based, long term residential programs with some records as to the results of graduates.  We usually can find or direct you to where you can find programs that fit your circumstances and will help you or the person you are sponsoring to get their life back.  Success is the most important element everyone wants when they seek help.  We very rarely if ever would refer to a program in the upper spectrum of costing, so you can feel good asking us for help having your addiction and financials understood and getting some help.
